- Vertical type bleeding: When the pig is completely stunned, the hind legs are then fixed with bleeding hook and loop chains, and lifted to the overhead conveyor track, suspended on the conveyor track, and then the pig neck is killed and transported to the bleeding area for complete bleeding. The bleeding time is 5 minutes.
- Horizontal Bleeding: When the pig completes its surprise and then slides to the horizontal conveyor, the pig will be killed and bleed on the conveyor with a bleeding time of 3 minutes (90% of the blood will bleed during this step).
- River-style scalding: When the pig is completely bleeding and cleaned, the pig carcass is then transported and placed into a hot water pool for scalding. The scalding time is 4-6 minutes. At the same time, the worker needs to turn the pig carcass upside down to allow it to be scalded in the hot water pool.
- Suspension scalding: When the pigs are completely bleeding and cleaned, the carcasses are directly transported to the hot water pool for scalding. At the same time, the pig carcasses will be suspended on a conveyor rail. The scalding time is 4-6 minutes and the scalding system is completely closed. So this method can prevent heat loss very well.
- Steam channel scalding: After the pig is completely bleeding and cleaned, the carcass will be directly transported to the hot steam channel for scalding, while the pig carcass will be suspended on the conveyor track. This can well avoid cross-infection of pigs.
